The post cards are contained in a spiral bound booklet form called Welcome to Downtown Danville.  The cards are from the personal collection of Joann Shank.  Copies of postcards are a full 8 1/2 x 10, most are in color, scenes depicted are circa 1870-1958.  Each card has a history of the scene and there are 30 cards in Volume I.

The booklets sell for $40.00 but as an introductory price through December 31, 2010 the cost is $35.00 plus $3.00 shipping/postage per book.  They can also be purchased direct at the IGHS.

These booklets would make excellent Christmas presents for genealogists or historical buffs. This booklet is sure to become a collector's piece
